Yoga Classes

What kind of Yoga will I learn?

I will be teaching a gentle hatha yoga mixed with restorative yoga poses. This type of yoga’s goal is to be restful and healing.

How does this benefit me?

  • Stay healthy! – Yoga balances the nervous system, boosts the immune system, and relaxes the body.
  • Take time for just you! – Reduce stress and give yourself a chance to decompress.
  • Clear your mind! – Yoga calms the endless chatter that clutters your head.

  • Improves mobility and flexibility! – Yoga decreases the chances of you pulling or straining your muscles as you go about everyday activities.  
  • Open your heart and evolve! – Feel more joy and happiness as you clear blocked energy in the body.

What can I expect?

We will be holding the poses longer than you would in a typical flow type yoga class and restoring balance to the body in a soft manner.

This is for people who want to focus on restoration, relaxation, balance, and inner calm.

Most of the poses will be done on the mat in a slow, soothing fashion. All of the poses will have adaptations to fit you and your body.

Instead of contorting the body into difficult positions that may be painful for your body and bone structure this type of yoga supports all bodies and structures.

By using props and tools most everyone will be able to enjoy the poses in a comfortable manner. The goal is to feel relaxed, calm, centered, and peaceful throughout and after the class.
